SMTBase has focused on SMT machine spare-parts sourcing and supply since 2016. We help electronics manufacturers, SMT maintenance teams and parts distributors identify parts, coordinate purchasing and arrange international shipping.
Our customers include EMS factories, PCB assembly plants, equipment maintenance teams, refurbishers and parts distributors. Some buyers need one nozzle or sensor. Others send a list with dozens of part numbers from several brands and machines.
We are not an equipment manufacturer, and we do not describe ourselves as an authorized distributor for any equipment brand. Our work is straightforward: check the part details, find a suitable source and state the price, lead time and confirmed information in the quotation.
What Does SMTBase Do?
SMTBase helps buyers identify and source replacement parts for pick-and-place machines, feeders, printers, reflow ovens, conveyors and other surface-mount production equipment.
Finding an SMT spare part is rarely just a matter of locating something that looks the same. Parts with the same general name may differ by machine generation, connector, dimensions, firmware or mounting points. Two parts can look identical in photographs and still not work in the same machine. This is especially common with motors and drivers, cameras, sensors and control boards.
That is why we normally review more than the product name. The machine model, part number, label, connector and installed position can all affect the final match.

SMT Spare Parts We Source

An accurate part number matters, but it is not always enough. Machine generation, part revision, connector type and installed position can all affect whether a part is suitable.

If the part number alone is not enough, we may ask for label photographs, connector views, dimensions, the equipment serial number or a photograph of the installed part. One extra check usually takes less time than correcting a shipment later.
How SMTBase Has Developed
The SMTBase project started. Work began with organizing SMT spare-parts information and handling sourcing requests.
Sourcing coverage grew. Requests expanded to feeders, printers, reflow ovens, conveyors, discontinued items and other parts that are harder to source.
Part information continues to improve. SMTBase has served 800 companies in 35 countries and continues developing its product information and RFQ process.
